Is it possible to configure HyperMesh 2025 settings to automatically retain components in the database when their parent part instance is deleted? Currently, all components are deleted as well.

May I ask the reason for this request?
As we are moving away from components, I recommend you start using Parts fully.
For a workaround, you can move the component out for its part into into the Main Part.
