How to Reflect the component without creating nodes in New GUI HM like in old version?

Hi,

In the older version, we could select points directly to define the base node. How can we do this in the new HyperMesh GUI?

I noticed that if there are no existing nodes in the CAD model, I need to manually create a base node to perform the Reflect operation.

Hi @Mugundhan03,

You are correct in that the Transform Tool does not look to create nodes on the fly in this version.

In the below GIF, you can see that creating nodes is completed first before Reflecting the component. Alternatively, you can use the Mirror Tool to complete the same operation without needing to define nodes beforehand, so this may be a more suitable method if you do not want to define nodes first.
