I am modeling fasteners as RBE3-CBUSH-RBE3 using the Aerospace>Connections>Fastener Set Up tool in HyperWorks 2021.2 (MSC.Nastran interface).
However, the K2 and K3 values for the fasteners I defined as bolts are slightly different from the values I calculated by hand. This situation is valid for both metal-metal and metal-composite connections.
This case does not exist for fasteners I set as rivets, so the program matches my manual calculations.
This discrepancy may be due to rounding or differences in the coefficients used. To confirm this, could you share the formulas and coefficients used by the program, or assist in any other way?
