I have a very large model with a lot of solid, which was imported into Hypermesh in IGES format. After the import, the model consisted of a large number of solid objects that were not connected to each other. I do the manual work of suppressing and combining solid.
But often, when cutting solid objects, the points of geometry stick together with the neighboring ones, forming a curved cutting surface that I did not mean. I don't understand why this is happening. Below, I will attach a number of screenshots so that you can understand ( some part of the model is hidden ).
The smallest distance between the points is 0.25 m. The Surface repair tool does not detect any problems with surfaces specifically in this area of geometry with sufficiently strict verification criteria for this geometry.
