According to the manual, it is recommended to run the analysis with a non-zero angle of attack. For rotors, would it be appropriate to use geometries with varying collective pitch angles for this purpose? Also, in OpenVSP’s detailed settings, the manual mentions setting the clustering values for the leading edge and trailing edge to 1. However, for rotors/propellers, there are additional options to set values for the root and tip as well. The manual does not specify how to handle these. From my understanding, it may be better to use a coarser mesh at the root compared to the tip when conducting performance analysis. I previously posted a similar question but have not yet received a response. If this is a difficult question to answer, I would appreciate it if you could at least leave a comment indicating so. Thank you.
