Geometry exportation erros

Hello.

I am trying to validate by myself the NACA 0012 airfoil from the tutorials. But I am trying to make myself the geometry of the problem in order to be able to change the geometry at some point in the good way (in case I want to study anything else than an airfoil).

I am using Fusion 360 to create the geometry and export it the Hypermesh in order to create a Parasolid Geometry and then exporting it to Hypermesh CFD.

When doing the geometry in Fusion 360, it seems to be ok. I am using .DAT files from Airfoiltools with 200 points (so it should be perfectly defined since I am using the maximum points available).

The problem is when exporting it to Hypermesh as an IGES file, it fails and changes the geometry a lot:

Could someone help solving this? I really need to learn how to import geometry succesfully in order to perform good simulations.

I would guess that is just the faceted representation on the screen - that the geometry is actually correct. If you mesh the surface of the airfoil with a reasonable fine mesh, you should see the surface captured correctly. That being said, you can also import IGES into HyperMesh CFD directly - though I would suggest you export STEP from Fusion 360 rather than IGES, as exported STEP files generally seem more robust.
