Unmatch result in long distance

I build a model of an omnidirectional antenna at 915MHz in a 800m length and arched dome tunnel. The simulation results align with those in papers within the Line-of-Sight (LOS) region, but significant discrepancies arise over longer distances: my simulation results do not exhibit a periodic null points, it's too smooth. What could be the root cause for this outcome?

Please share more information about the model you are trying to replicate: The paper you mentioned as well as the model files so that we can comment.

Attached the paper. Tunnel size is the same as paper shows.

1：Tunnel wall material setting. Parameter keeps the same at diff freq points.
