I couldn't pick the SHELL elements when I adjust the SHELL normal.

Hi, I have a SHELL plane and I like to adjust the normal directions. However, there are several elements, I couldn't select them. I guess they might be associated with some geometry. But how can I break these associations? Or, is there a way to find these associated geometry and delete them? Thanks.

Hello,

Yes, you can only adjust the surfaces when mesh is associated to CAD. If you want to adjust the individual element, delete the surface and work with mesh only or FE geometry.

I found another way, to use the "disassociate" to separate the surface from the associated nodes.
