COMPOSITE MODELLING IN LS DYNA

Description: I am trying to model a crashbox test, but my simulation is "failing". Could someone help me? I have attached my k file and a video file. I could provide more info as requested. I have attached an image, it is an origami structure which "blows" open(?) when I try to simulate it.

LS DYNA is not our software. I would recommend checking their support for any issues with the solver analysis.

Thank you for your response. I must have confused myself as I am still using hypermesh but the solver is LS Dyna. Is this relevant?

Hypermesh is the preprocessor to setup the model. LSDYNA is the solver to solve the analysis. But if you are having issues with the analysis not running, that should be something you reach out to Dyna about.

You can refer to this playlist for working with composites in hypermesh. It is mostly about setting it up for optistruct, but the methodology should e similar
