How to create contact smoothing options for Abaqus in hypermesh?

I want to use contact smoothing in Abaqus to make the contact force distribution more reasonable and uniform, but when I used Hypermesh to make the contact, I checked the SMOOTH option and set it to 1, but when I imported it into Abaqus, I found that the Smooth option did not seem to be activated，Did I set it incorrectly?

Hi Jini,

The option is used correctly, and it will work properly.

Please let me know which version of HyperMesh you are using. Also, could you update the model with

SMOOTH option = 1 and export the file.

Later, open the input file on Textpad and cross-check whether it is written properly or not.

Hello, I tried it and set it up in Hypermesh 2025. I also checked the exported data in VS code and found that this command exists, but importing it into Abaqus did not change it. I have uploaded my source file below, you can take a look

I think there is no issue from HyperMesh, since you have exported and checked the exported data in VS code and found that this command is correct.

Please check Abaqus, also run the file which is exported from HyperMesh and confirm the results.
