Good afternoon all,
We have a requirement to create a Monarch project where the summary should be different than the usual one when creating our posting files for SAP.
In this case, we have an original database (excel) where the key value are provided in column A.
These key values can be shown as consecutive way or in very different lines.
We know that, when creating a summary in monarch, the key value is automatically arranged for having the same values put all together consecutivelly.
The requirement in this case is:
Is it possible to create a summary where, this key value, maintains the order it has on the original database?
Example:
In this example, we can see that the same value is appearing on very different line positions (thus be done, we can have cases with 2-3-4-5 consecutive equal values, and it's not always the same structure).
Can we make Monarch detecting this line and conserving it when creating the summary?
I have been checking and I know we can create key-value matchings with pre-matched list or time intervals, but showing the data in the same line-position it has in the original file, is this possible?
Tried with Data Prep and I don't see any option there neither.
The only measure existing is related to the amounts each line has, in order to obtain some totals. All the rest of columns used for the summary are showing individual values.
Have any of you worked with this kind of logic ever?
Many thanks in advance.
