Automating Data Prep Studio using Excel Macros

I have developed many automated processes using Monarch COM auto where complex solutions involving integration of Monarch with Excel macros, remote systems interface (such as AS400, file servers, etc.), and other disparate systems. Is the same possible with Monarch Data Prep Studio (DPS)? Simply said, can DPS workspace(s) be initiated with Excel Macros?

DPS does not support COM auto like Monarch Classic used to. There is a command line version though you can check out: MonarchDataPrepStudio.Automation.exe

If you run the following command from a command promt or powershell session:

MonarchDataPrepStudio.Automation.exe /?

you can see the available options. There is an additional unit draw for each Automation session that is running.
