How do i define differents densities on meshing sides of my part

In this example, i would like to set A number of '10' faces on the up side, and a number of '5' faces on the down side. Both '2' faces os the left and right side. I already did this on another model that i worked recently but i seems i cant do this right now, some line became black, and seem to be restricted to the other one.

What i am tryng to do is replicate this pattern: (that i already did once, but this time something is going wrong.)

Please disable 'link opposite edges' option in the hamburger menu, as shown below,

Ok, i see. When using "Freeform" this is not a problem, actually i wanted to use the "Map Mesh" option, because it generates better elements, because as seen when using "Freeform", we have some pretty odd mesh, with random angles. But when using "Map Mesh" i get some elements with 45 and 90 degrees, that is what i am looking for.

This is something i did generate with Map Mesh, that was pretty fast and good, such a good tool. But now, it seems i cant do it anymore. I really would like some help on it

You may use the refine tool for this by defining the refinement element size as seen in below resources.
