Recommended Consumer Grade Hardware for Altair Inspire Cast 2025?

Hello everyone,

I’m planning to run Altair Inspire Cast on a desktop and would like your suggestions for consumer-grade hardware (no workstation-class items like Intel Xeon or Nvidia Quadro).

Could you please suggest the recommended or minimum:

• Processor (Intel/AMD)
• Graphics Card (NVIDIA/AMD, preferably gaming series)
• RAM size

The goal is smooth & fast meshing and simulation without professional-grade hardware. Any personal experience or system recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Besides the basic requirements of the Inspire platform, i'd say InspireCast needs more on RAM to run large models, so the larger the better.

Graphics Card have some requirements, as shown in the link below. The Quadro Cards are recommended as they're usually verified/checked in terms of compatibility.

The gaming cards (RTX) should be just fine, but not officially supported, so you're taking your chances…but you shouldn't have any big issue overall..

In terms of processor, take care with the number of core's and core types..most of the new cpus come with hybrid core's (efficient and performance)…performance should be prefered.
