I'm trying to do a simulation of a cable pulley system similar to
<altair>\utility\mbd\nlfe\validationmanual\model5.mdl
It uses spheres as contacts between cable and pulley. However in the region, where the spheres are attached the stress in the cable aproach 0. Since for my simulation I need the spheres on the whole length of the cable it will not show me accurate stresses.
Is there a way or different aproach to simulate such a scenario?
Or am I missing something?
