Import parameters from Catia V5 to Inspire

Hi!

I am using Inspire 2025 and I want to use Inspire to connect with Hyperstudy to optimize my design. I have been looking at this video and I was thinking of using somewhat the same kind of methodology:

I have created my model in Catia V5 and I was wondering if it is possible to import this model and the parameters that I made in Catia V5 to Inspire and that those parameters will be available in the "Variables" in Inspire. I did try to do this and the parameters didn't follow with the importation and I was wondering if I have missed something or if it is even possible.

unfortunately. the CAD parameters are not brought directly into Inpsire. You would need to re-parametrize your geometry. Depending on what you're targetting, SimLab would be an alternative, as it can read and work with the parameters from the CAD.

I was thinking of using EDEM and Hyperstudy to optimize my geometry and the model was made in Catia V5 so I am not entirely sure on how to do so. So I was thinking of using the video I mentioned but that requires the model to be in Inspire. Do you have another solution?
