Fix ERROR 40619 Intersecting elements found in EDITFEKO

Description: [I need to automate an antenna array generation. First, I import a .cfm (mesh model) file of my antenna. Then, I generate a finite ground plane. I end up with 13 intersecting triangles. While I can manually delete them and create new ones on CAD FEKO, it is not a solution to my problem because this has to be done for a very large array. Is there an EDITFEKO card that meshes the ground taking into account existing antenna mesh triangles? Or I can fix the ground for one antenna and import a .cfm file with a small ground plane, but later, when I add all other antennas, how do I unite the ground planes?]

    Hi @mkovaleva ,

Would it be possible to attach the .cfm here so I can have a look? My first thought was to simply have the groundplane already in the .cfm file, so that the triangles fit together perfectly when the array is created.

    Best regards,
    Torben

    Hi @mkovaleva ,

What is the number of elements in the desired array? And would an infinite groundplane be an option?

    Best regards,
    Torben
