Rectangular Waveguide Higher Order Modes

Hi all,

I have been trying to model a WR-90 waveguide with higher order modal propagation. I have set up the waveguide as stated by the FEKO example provided, however, when I set the waveport to support the higher order TE20 mode, the reflection coefficient and mismatch loss does not match the theory. Has anyone ever simulated a waveguide that supports higher order mode propagation that can help me?

Many thanks.

If you excite the TE20 mode, lower order modes will also be propagating.

But it depends greatly on the waveguide dimensions and frequency.

The out file will contain details of all the modes.
