I’ve been trying to follow the official tutorial videos and documentation to set up a co-simulation between Altair EDEM and MotionSolve, but I’m still confused about some key parts.
For example:
- How exactly do you export geometries from MotionView so they show up correctly in EDEM?
- Do I need to manually set the export/import paths in the coupling settings, or should it auto-link?
- How do you map Motion Parts from EDEM to MotionSolve bodies correctly?
- What’s the correct order to launch both solvers? Should EDEM be waiting before MotionSolve starts?
- Do I need to modify any .xml or .dll paths manually?
If anyone has a clear step-by-step guide or has run into similar issues and solved them, I’d really appreciate your input. Even a short screen recording would help a lot!
