Particle Aspect Ratio

Description: [I want to make a Cumulative Distribution function plot based on particle shape using aspect ratio. Can i import this out of EDEM someway? I know for the aspect ratio I would need

AR = x_Fmin / x_Fmax

 

For a pair-wise gs,

x_Fmin = diameter of the bigger particle

x_Fmax = d_big + d_small - overlap

The main issue is that a lot of the particles I used are a variety of shapes and sizes. ]

Just to confirm you want to set the aspect ratio of the particles as a simulation input?

Currently this is only possible to do manually, you have to specify the shape that you want to have. EDEM will scale the shape but the aspect ratio will be kept constant. The product team is working on implementation of allowing users to specify a shape then vary the aspect ratio but this is not implemented yet.

For multiple shapes you will have to define multiple particles in the Creator and specify the aspect ratio for these.
