Data Prep Filter issue
Hi Everyone,
So I created a workspace in DataPrep and uploaded it to Automator for a daily export but when Automator runs it doesn't process the filters on the Change List and gives me data I do not want. Is there a reason why Automator would be ignoring the Filter: Selected Values? In DataPrep it exports filtered properly.
Thanks,
Pat

Patrick, can you post a screenshot of the filter dialog box?

Hi Stephen,
Below is one of the filter dialog boxes in DataPrep for a filter on by Account that has a Total row at the bottom of it that I wanted removed, so the only things selected are Totals row and exclude selected (I had to redact for privacy). The second report I actually filtered before I opened the table so it doesn't show in the Change List but it is the same as below excluding a Total row. This works fine in DataPrep including exporting from there but Automator doesn't seem to like it. Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks,

Hmm, that seems fairly straightforward, but it's not working on the Automator for either report? The one that you filter here in the Prep Data area, and the one that you filter before loading from the Preview Data screen?
The next thing I would say to check would be the Change History in the Visual Process on Automator itself. If you click on the Workspace node, you should be able to expand the Load Plan there, and then expand the Change History for this table to make sure it matches what's on the desktop, as below:

Patrcik, I am not sure what's going on here. My suggestion at this point is that you contact the Datawatch Support team to submit a formal ticket.
