Error 38346 with 2 cables sections connected together

I have a cable bundle from pt A to pt B and another one from pt B to Pt C. The connectors are connected at pt B.
Gives error 38346 "A cable connection may only be used in a limited number of scenarios to interconnect different cable path sections".
What does this mean? Please see model attached.

Hi @Troy_S ,

The connector seems to be linking a shielded cable instance to a non shielded one. This connection is not directly supported. The inner signals of the shielded cables are then “exposed” to the outer environment.

You can relax this restriction by setting the environment variable: FEKO_RELAX_CABLE_LOAD_RESTRICTIONS=1. We would expect in this case the circuit solution to be valid but we cannot know if the radiated fields are consistent.

On another note, after relaxing this restriction, you will also get some warnings/errors in the current model regarding the MTL validity and the conductor separation. You will have to adjust them.
