Hello,
I was wondering if it's possible to run PolyFoam in batch mode. I know that Inspire can be run this way.
Thanks in advance.
Shinwoo
@MilanRaval, kindly provide the suggestions for executing Inspire PolyFoam in a batch mode.
Many thanks.
Kind Regards
Garima Singh
Hello @Shinwoo,
If you are referring to export a batch folder and then running from the pre-created input folder with setup, mesh and configuration, this is how you can access the feature.
If you are trying to run on cluster, that feature is not yet available in PolyFoam. Potentially coming to PolyFoam in upcoming release. You can also configure your multiple runs based on parallel or sequential computing on local machine.
Thank you for your support!!!
Hello, I have the same question as @Shinwoo but let me explain a little bit my need. Let's suppose I want to iterate on the CAD geometry of the mold, or on the initial temperature or pressure of the Polyol/Isocyanate, and then to run PolyFoam simulations for each mold geometry and/or conditions, so as to optimize the quality of the foam. Can I run Inspire Polyfoam not using its GUI but in a "batch mode" or from a Windows command (cmd)? The parameter values for each iterations can be managed using a Python script or other external software, but the question remains whether PolyFoam can be launched in a batch mode, as Altair HyperMesh and HyperWorks do, as an example, see https://help.altair.com/hwdesktop/hwx/topics/getting_started/start_hypermesh_batch_on_windows_t.htm
