Tire falls under road

I face a problem, trying to make a MBD analysis of a motorcycle in motionview. I try to make a run in a 3D road graphic and I have the problem that you can see in the picture:
Do you have any recommendations on this topic?
Thank you in advance.

Hi @Cpapagiann,
The default road profile and reference marker that the AutoTire reacts against is set in its properties:
Tires can have unique road profiles assigned. If you want the tires to see the same road, make sure that the Road Property File that is assigned is identical for all tire definitions.
The road graphic that is created using the Road Tools Utility is simply a graphic, and should be set to the same marker that is used for the road definition:
As you can see here, after generating the road graphic for the 2d_potole road, the graphic is then attached to the Road Reference Marker to ensure the graphic is located in the same place that the tires will actually encounter the road.
The road profile actually used in the simulation is set in the event, in which either a Flat Road, Road File, or AutoTire definition can be chosen:
Therefore, you could be encountering this issue for a few reasons:
- The rear tire does not have the same road property file assigned as the front tire, so it might encounter a lower road. Please make sure they have identical property files assigned.
- The road graphic is not positioned properly and is showing you a false outcome of the simulation. Please make sure the graphic is positioned in the identical manner to the AutoTire properties.
- The road reference point for the rear tire is lower than the front tire. Please make sure the vertical position of the front and rear road reference point is identical.
- The Road Selection in the event is set to AutoTire and each tire has a different road property file chosen. Please make sure that the Road File set in the event is the same as the graphic or that you have already followed Step 1.
Hope this helps!
