Meshing issues in HMCFD

Hi,

One of our clients is experimenting issues when he goes for meshing his CAD part for CFD analysis :

" I created the volume and now I am trying to mesh a CAD part for CFD simulation. However when I try to run the mesh, the process stops. Can you tell me what is the matter? "

I joined his stp file but i cant add his HMCFD file in this message, I can email it for reviewing if needed.

Is there some common issues that prevent the mesh from being created in HyperMesh CFD ?

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards,

Loïc Verhaeghe

Typical issues might be mesh element size too large for small features in the geometry, boundary layer parameters that may cause intersections, etc. Maybe try with boundary layer specs deactivated and see if that works.

Case like this may be best to submit a support ticket as that would handle larger attachments.
