I have a question regarding EDEM.

When analyzing using existing sphere-shaped particles, the analysis was completed, but when changing the particle to a cuboid shape, particles are created and the particles are deleted in the next step. (In the cuboid shape, it is performed with a solver that uses GPU.)
I'm wondering why the particles are being removed and if there's a way to fix this.

Hi,
It is probably particle properties or time-step.
In the EDEM Creator Bulk Material > Particle > Properties can you check you have re-calculated the properties for the new shape, or these properties are calculated correctly.
Also in the Simulator we typically recomend running at 20% of the Rayleigh time-step. Higher may cause explosions and the 20% is a guide, reducing this may improve stability.
