I have shown in the cultivator video how it was mounted on the frame. Is there any mistake in it, due to which the soil bed moves backward?

Hi,

By default gravity in EDEM will act in -Z direction, it looks like it is still acting in -Z but your model is orientated so -Y is downwards.

If you go to the EDEM Creator Environment section you can specify the gravity direction:
