How to build a 1D model in Activate and add it to MotionView?

Hi Everyone,
In MotionView's 1D Vehicle System Models,
There are many models available.
For example, ABS, TC, ESP,
Assists in controlling vehicle movement.
Most of the co-simulation examples that can be seen are to make the MotionView Model into an FMU in Activate.
For example, MV-7010: Co-Simulation with Activate - Quadrotor Control
I want to know,
How to build a control logic in Activate,
And then convert it into 1D model for MotionView?
Thanks,
Ted

Hello @TedTsai,
@Christopher_Fadanelli has already shared with you basic examples on how to use Twin Activate FMU in MotionVIew and vice versa. If you are interested in the vehicle controllers which are used inside MotionView you can check their Twin Activate original model. You can find them in the installation directory ( C:\Program Files\Altair\2025\hwdesktop\hw\mdl\mdllib\Common\FMU_Library ). Under each folder there is the FMU source folder and in there there is an scm file which includes the Twin Activate model.
Hope this helps!

Hi Ted,
There are a few ways in connecting an 1d model to MotionView. This first as you mentioned is taking a super block in Twin Activate and exporting it as an fmu to be used in MotionView .
The second is connecting the Twin Activate Model by input and output signals. For more information please refer to this tutorial.
Another option is to export the MotionView model as an fmi and import that fmi into the Twin Activate session. For more information please refer to this tutorial.
Hope this helps!
