Altair compose

Good morning, I have an h3d file that I want to visualize in ParaView, but I can't figure out how to use Altair Compose to convert the file to h5 format and load it into ParaView. Additionally, I’m not sure which reader to use within ParaView

Hi @PabloCabezas,
The functions in the HDF5Writer Library in Compose should let you write results you read from an H3D into an H5 file.
If you are new to reading H3D files as well, have a look at our CAE Readers (analogous to those in HyperGraph) and CAE Readers 3D (analogous to those in HyperView).
Look at this example I made a few years ago, although it focuses on reading an H3D for displaying post-processed results in HyperView, it can guide you on the reading process: Post-process CAE data and visualize in HyperView automatically using Altair Compose — Altair Community.
