Hello everyone,
As you know, Feko allows to consider a perfect ground plane as a PEC :

cf. https://help.altair.com/feko/topics/feko/getting_started_guide/GS5_emc_coupling/emc_coupling_infinite_plane_feko_t-example5.htm

Would it be possible to know which electromagnetic technique is used to model this ground plane ?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Student_21133,

Adding a PEC ground plane allows the computation of the reflected field using the exact reflection coefficients; it is then added to the total field.

Please check this section of the guide where more details about Infinite planes can be found.

    Best Regards,

    Zeina

    Hi Zeina,
    Thanks for your reply.
So in the case of using the method of moments for an infinite PEC plane as the ground, does Feko just replace the free-space Green's dyad with the Green's dyad for a perfect ground, which represents a reflection ?
Thanks if you have any information on this.
Best regards, and have a nice day.
