Very slow meshing etc. Replace (node) takes 50 seconds!

It takes 50 seconds to just move one node to another using
Edit element, Replace (node).
Is this normal? How can i speed this up?
Also, equivalence takes 50 seconds for only a selection of 14 elements.
(Validate, equivalence)

Hi David,
Does your model have Feature entities? If they are included, can you delete them and try the process again?

Hi David
It should not take so long time do this kind of operation ( I guess you are using Hypermesh)
So maybe you need to updated the drivers for the graphic board!
In this link you can find out more about hardware for our products:

Thanks Johan.
Yes it's Hypermesh.
I have a
Dell PC: Precision 7820 Tower
with the following graphics card:
NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000
Adaptor RAM 1,048,576 bytes
driver version 32 . 0 . 15 . 5639
Is this graphics card related to my problem?
This PC is not listed in the link above.
The link above does not list my graphics card.
Similar number cards are listed
RTX A5000
RTX 5000 Ada
I'm meshing with elements with an edge length of 0.14mm.
Thanks.

Yes. Following this comment to delete features, I found 'features' listed in the model navigator. I double clicked that branch - a features navigator tab opened and there was a long list of features: holes fillets etc. I deleted all those, deleted the tab, saved the model.
I tried the edit element, replace (node) again. Now it takes 7 seconds. That's a big improvement. Thank you.
I'm not sure how the features appeared in the first place.

You may have created it automatically with Batchmesher.

I see. Yes, I had used batchmesher for the first time.
Thank you
