How to Adjust the Color Representation for Mass/Thickness in Spray Coating Analysis?

Hi All,

I have generated the tablet color representation for Mass/Thickness using the Spray Coating Analysis(ray tracing) in the EDEM 2024.1. I would like to adjust the color scheme to better visualize the results. Specifically, I’d like to display thicker areas in blue (or another deeper color) and thinner areas in yellow (or a brighter color). How can I do to deal with it?

Hi Selena,

You can change the color in EDEM-Analyst under particle option choose color by as a variable and change the colors as you wish from standard color schemes or using more option choose the color scheme you need to assign

Hi Selena,

Can you please review your model that is spray coating zone is defined in such a way that the particles are moved in that zone and i hope you know that to get the thickness and mass parameter you should run spray coating simulation in Analyst.

Hi Prasad A,

I'd read about the tutorial, and the top picture of the tablet thickness is the result I obtained after running the simulation and Spray Coating Analysis in my test.
In my test, I ran a short simulation for a few seconds, set up a spray nozzle for coating analysis, and executed Analyze Spray Coating in the Analyst. As a result, I was able to generate the Thickness/Mass HTML report. However, I couldn’t adjust the color representation for Mass/Thickness on the tablet (e.g., displaying thicker areas in blue(darker color) and thinner areas in yellow(lighter color), that's also the comment from client). Additionally, I couldn't find the Spray Coating Item - Mass/Thickness option in the color adjustment toolbar.

Comparing my results to the example in the tutorial, I suspect I may have missed a step, but I’m not sure what it might be. I would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions you can provide.
