Hi.
Is there a release notes available somewhere? I can't find it on the Marketplace or the support documentation page. Thanks!
I see the confusion now. The latest version is indeed 2024.1. I will see if we can get that corrected in the header.
Hi Lasse,
2024.1.1 is a patch release that corrects an issue with the Trial mode of Monarch found in the original 2024.1. There are no other updates compared to 2024.1. The patched release replaces the original one. The full version "2024.1.1" with the second ".1" is only displayed in the About box of Altair License Manager and Monarch Classic. I agree that it would be less confusing for the users if the Release notes indicated 2024.1.1, given that it is indicated on the Marketplace. I will see if this can be updated.
I believe this may be the latest documentation:
https://2024.help.altair.com/2024.1/monarch/releasenotes/Altair_Monarch_2024_1_0_ReleaseNotes.pdf
Thank you for your response. So, I assume that the release notes document for version 2024.1.1 has not been published yet. I would appreciate it if the document could be published in the future at the same time as the new software version is released.
The current release for Monarch is 2024.1. If you notice 24.1.1.27436, that is an internal release number. Release notes are published at the same time when the new release is placed in the Altair Marketplace and can usually be found under the documents tab for the software you are downloading.
According to the Marketplace, version 2024.1.1 was released in February. I think version 2024.1 was released last December. I was looking for information on what changes there are between these versions. But apparently, I made an incorrect interpretation that a new version had been released.
Thank you @dmitri_1 for the clarifying comments!
