Loaded Tooth contact analysis (LTCA) for crossed helical gears

Hi all,
Is it possible to carry out a loaded tooth contact analysis (LTCA) of a crossed helical gear in Inspire?
My goal is to determine the cyclically changing and recurring transmission error (TE). Depending on the meshing situation, load and material pairing, I have a different tooth deformation under load. This tooth deformation must be determined for each angular position of the drive gear. The tooth deformation results in a small angular deviation of the output gear from the theoretical angular position, which is ultimately my transmission error.
In the literature, there are calculation methods for spur-gear, helical-gear and bevel-gears, but not for crossed helical gears.
I would be grateful for any useful tips on how to proceed.

Hi,
Inspire Motion could calculate the tooth contact using rigid bodies. It is also possible to consider flexibility using flexbodies. It might be a good alternative to try.
Inspire Structural is mainly linear, with limited contact conditions. You would probably need to go to OptiStruct full, with SimLab or HyperMesh for a better representation of the non-linear effects.
