Temperature Load Visualization

Guys, how to make contours plots of temperature (not results in HyperView, but applied thermal loads in HyperMesh)? I have TEMPERATURE(LOAD) and TEMPD cards in my Nastran deck. I know how to do it in Patran Loads/BCs/ Plot Contours/Temperature/. Then select Load case, Select existing Set: temp.### Select Data Variable: Temperature.

Thank you!

    Hello Vladimir,

Can you please try Contour Loads from the Analysis Ribbon?

    Hello Vladimir,

    Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately we can't select elements based on this contour plot.
As a workaround one can save the the contour into a *.res file.
And use this result in HyperView, to select entitites by contour and create a set.

This set can be exported to HyperMesh.

    Gunter

Thank you, Gunter! It works! Very nice. Thank you for the video. I actually tried to use Contour Loads tool, but I did not click Contour button, and. of course, did not get results. In Patran using this Temperature Contour Plots and List Tool we can select elements based on current fringe value, for example, make list of elements with T>500F. Is it possible to make set of elements with T>500F from the temperature map?
