Facated UTD multiple reflection

I am computing the near-field scattering of a reflector illuminated by a Hertzian dipole using the Faceted Uniform Theory of Diffraction. The accuracy of the scattered fields is sensitive to the number of mesh triangles used to represent the reflector. In the attached FEKO models, one uses the default mesh, while the other employs a custom mesh with a mesh length of λ/8. Could you please confirm whether the ray tracer computes multiple reflection points on a single triangle?

Hello,
Could you please confirm whether the ray tracer computes multiple reflection points on a single triangle?
→ Definitely, fUTD considers all the reflection points on the triangle meshes of the geometry in the model.
If you want, you can trace all the rays by checking the following menu under Solver setting > High frequency.
However, fUTD/UTD in Feko can not properly handle a caustic EM structure (such as a focal point of the parabolic antenna) where so many rays converge at one point.
As an alternative, you can switch the solver to RL-GO.
(I got the following result from the attached model whose solver is the RL-GO.)
Best regards,
Jaehoon
