Is it possible to work around the 1 load/surface/load case limitation in Inspire and SimSolid?

The analyses I would be running require to have several loads applied to one surface in a single load case. Inspire (2024) and SimSolid (2024) both fail to run an analysis if more than a single load is applied to the same surface (see image below)

. Does anyone know how to work around that problem? Thanks!

Hi @Lapinaute,

You will still need to resolve this to a single force if you want it to act across the entire hole. Alternatively, you could partition the hole into 3 pieces if you needed them all separate.

What type of analysis are you trying to complete?

I am able to run a Structural Analysis in Inspire 2025.0 using the swingarm demo part with 3 forces applied to the same face:

@GTT Adam Thank you for your reply! I'm trying to run a regular linear analysis using the "for stress" optimization. The three forces were applied in a hole feature. I have two bearing loads and an axial load.

Hi @Lapinaute,

You can change the load type to Components, and thus have a single Force with separate definitions for X, Y, and Z:

I have tried to set the forces as components, but the analysis still won't run because of multiple loads on a same surface. I am in the 2025 version too, so I'm not sure how to fix it. Forces 4 and 5 are bearing loads; force 6 is an axial load.
