Assuming the drive cycle results are from MotionView, the fuel consumption of a vehicle can be approximated using the engine speed and engine torque. Most fuel consumption maps can be requested with respect to engine speed and engine torque, like so:

Therefore, the instantaneous fuel consumption rate could be approximated in simulation with this information.
