I am quite new to FEKO. I performed a simulation from start to end for a complex structure. Now I added an additional request on the results and it seems the calculation has to rerun the full solution as I get

Is it normal?

Hi @nicolo ,

If only a request has been added, without modifying other model parameters, then normally the solver does not rerun from scratch the same solutions it has already computed. What type of request did you add?

I added a near field request only.

yes, that was what I expected. Is it maybe configuration dependent?

Ok, so you have added a configuration, to which you have added a new request.

Indeed, in this case, the runs perform again.

Normally the configuration is already there, I just added a new request within it. But I will check further to try and figure out what is happening…
