How to Generate 3D Antenna Patterns from Bitmaps of Vertical and Horizontal Patterns Using WinProp

Having access to full antenna models, or 3D pattern files, is sometimes challenging when performing radio wave propagation simulations.

In some cases, we only have access to the datasheet of a given antenna. Using AMan, the antenna manger tool in Altair's WinProp, one can import the bitmap image of a horizontal and vertical pattern in polar plot and generate a full 3D antenna pattern file, usable in ProMan for propagation simulations.
