Using Radiated Sound (RADSND) in Optimizations

Hello,
I am working on utilizing the radiated sound method of external acoustic sound pressure measurements in hypermesh, and want to use this response output in optimizations. The standard outputs for responses in optimization do not directly point to acoustic pressure, but since this is a frf response technically, would frf pressure be the correct response type to call? Or is there a different type I should be using?
I am also using a minmax objective on this optimization which requires a dsysid or objective reference. If my goal is to reduce the magnitudes of the sound pressure response, which type of input would be best as I have not created an optimization that requires these options for objective inputs?
Thanks for the help!

Hi,
frf pressure is a structural response not an acoustic response, you cannot use it in substitution of the acoustic pressure. What you can use in optimization is ERP instead, that is the radiated power.
Here you can find an example:
Radiated power and radiated sound are in close connection.
Hope this helps.

Thanks that seemed to do the trick! I figured it would be something simple. Thanks.
