Why edem can't set up two different types of particles?

Dear Altair teams,

I had confusions about the modeling of particles with the edem software.There were two different types of particles that i wanted to set up. One is the cylinder-like particle,i want to make it with the single sphere, the other is the thin-stick-like,i want to set up with the spherocylinder.But edem doesn't seem to support this modeling method during the modeling process.The warining was that there was two different types of particles?Is there a good way to solve this problem?

    Hi Chao,

    Your requirement i.e multi shape is pretty possible using all EDEM latest version at least 2023.1 and above.

    The latest version is 2024.1 and can you please let me know on which version are you trying this exercise?

    The versions of my edem was 2022.0. Thanks for your tutoring. I will update my edem with the latest versions.
