Hi. I am trying to mesh a model that is symetric. So i did mesh half of model ,then attempted to make a copy of the element to the half left, i used the Reflect command in Tool Panel  as the recommendation of one friend, but when i finished, i lost the elements in the first half. could anyone help with that problem?  thanks

    Have a look at my pictures: You have to duplicate your selected elements before doing 'reflect'

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>duplicate_0.png

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>duplicate_1.png

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>duplicate_2.png

    Hello.

    After reflecting elements, must we joint it to ensure that they become one ?

    Yes after using reflect option you should use free edges command to ensure connectivity.

    May I ask if I want to copy plenty of the elements in a fixed space increment, is it possible to do in Hypermesh? Thank you.

    Hi,

    If you are trying to make several instances in a fixed increment use Transformation tool, from Tools menu.

    Choose the elements, give the increment, direction and also the number of copies required.

    tool.PNG

    The same operations are shown in the attached video (swf format, opens in GOM player).
