After re-install, material type and card image is not defined

I am following the "getting started with Hypermesh 2024" course and came to the point where I was supposed to analyze the parameters. I then got a message saying that I had not installed a solver, so I uninstalled hypermesh and re-installed it, but now when I look at the materials, the type and card image is not defined, and I don't know how to solve this. Any help is appreciated. I also can't change any of the material properties.

I have attached an image of how it looks for me, and how it is supposed to look according to the video (and how it looked before I re-installed hypermesh)

    Hi @MysticBear,

Please refer to the following animation for editing material properties:

    hypermesh_edit_material_card.gif

If you are still having issues with viewing the Entity Editor, you may need to run the HWCleanup batch file to reset your preferences:

    C:\Program Files\Altair\2024.1\hwdesktop\utility\HWCleanup\HyperworksWindowsCleanup.bat

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @MysticBear,

The properties can be modified in the Entity Editor, which may be hidden after the reinstallation. Please enable the Entity Editor using View » Entity Editor.

    Hope this helps!

Hello, thank you for reaching out. As you can see, the entity editor is enabled, but I can still not edit any values. @GTT Adam

Thank you so, so much @GTT Adam !! Running the cleanup solved my issue. Now I can finally continue using this great program and follow the fantastic e-learning course I was doing. Once again thank you so much!
