I am running Knowledge Seeker 2024.2 on Windows 10 and want to import csv files from an AWS S3 bucket. Any suggestions for which ODBC driver I should install?

    Hello!

Thank you for your question. While there seems to be no free ODBC driver for Amazon S3, there is a 30-day trial version of the ODBC driver available from CData Software: https://www.cdata.com/drivers/amazons3/download/odbc/.

The User interface of the ODBC Import node in Knowledge Seeker currently has a limitation that prevents users from browsing Amazon S3 buckets after connecting to their S3 storage. Therefore, while connection to S3 can be established from Knowledge Seeker using the above driver, users cannot import data. We plan to implement enhancements node to fix this issue in our March/April release of 2025.

    Best regards,

    Dmitri

many thanks Dmitri. I see the driver is $1150 for desktop per year. Looking forward to the March/April release to fix the import problem.
