How to do correct 3D pretension bolt on this junction for non linear analysis static?
Good evening everyone independently of your geograhic position, i need your help on this model, i tried to do a non linear static analysis on it. But with tetramesh, i found difficult to realize a 3D pretension bolts . I hope that someone here is already done something similary before. I will be proud to get the answer from anyone who could answer me positively. Thank you!!

this tutorial on bolt pretension should give you a brief idea on how to use a 3D surface for bolt pretension (although it is using the old interface, it should be similar enough).
but in your specfic case, I'd create a trim/cut into your bolts before meshing, so that when you tetramesh it, there will be an easy surface to pick, and apply the pretension loads.
