How do i put a constraint in a local coordinate system

Hello,
I am trying to run a simulation in Altair Hypermesh. In my simulation, i need a constraint that blocks displacement in an axis at a certain tilt with respect to the global reference system. I am creating a system of local coordinates and then using the "Assign" command (inside of the system tab) to apply it to my constraint; there is no way to check if this operation has been made properly or confirmation screen, and in the simulations it does not appear like it is working. However, if i assign the system to a load it does work and it is clearly visible in the screen. How do i solve this problem?
