How to fill wiwth tetra elements a surface
Dear colleagues,
I am writing to you regarding an issue we are experiencing in our lab when using the Hypermesh 2023 version.
In the previous version we were using (2019.1) we uploaded a dentine surface model of a tooth that bears inside a void for the pulp chamber. The dentine was filled with tetra elements leaving the void of the pulp chamber empty (please see screenshot below).
In the 2023 version when uploading the dentine surafce model in Hypermesh and filled it with tetra elements the software did not "recognize" the void and filled the entire cavity as if there was no pulp space (please see screenshot). Just to make sure we were not doing anything differently we reapeated the process in the 2019.1 version and that issue was not found.
Since we could not solve the issue, we decided to go back to the 2019.1 version, however we would prefer to run latest versions.
I would very much appreciate if you have any suggestion to solve the issue.
Sincerely,

Hi Jason,
thank you very much for your quick reply.
We will be able to try it once the IT team (re)updates the software to the latests version.
Sincerely,
