Multi-row opperation / solution for data
Hi everyone, can someone please help me solve this problem. In the attached example the data the first 3 lines shows the component and the description for that component in the line above and below it. There are a few cases like this in my dataset and also a case where the description is the line in middle and the component in the line above and below this line (as seen in the last 3 lines in the example). Can someone help with the process to fix this problem in my data?
Thank you

Is the example you posted the raw data that you are bringing into Monarch or the output after you built your templates?

Hi Chris, thank you. The example is what the output looks like when I used the table extractor. I also used PDF extractor which extracted the data correctly. Does PDF extractor automatically extract data from tables when other PDF are pulled into the model?
How can I make contact with you regarding our discussion in the workshop?

Hi Chris, thank you. That was the output. PDF extractor extracted the data correctly. When using the model for other pdf's will the model automatically extract tables using PDF extractor?
How can I make contact with you regarding our discussion in the workshop about the transform etc. functionality?0 -

@Rouche ,
Regarding your question:
When using the model for other pdf's will the model automatically extract tables using PDF extractor?
If you were to create a model/workspace directly by "trapping" it will use that original template in which you can then use to capture data out of the similar type of PDFs(same format/data alignment).
When using PDF Table Extractor it is more of one time use to capture "table" like data that resides within a PDF document and not repeatable.Link to info about Table Extractor
