How do you stop PROC R when an error has occurred?

Product: Altair Analytics Workbench

Version: 5.23

Licence: Community Edition

Platform: Windows 11 Pro

I ran a SAS program containing a PROC R section, but I made a programming error in R and PROC R crashed. Now I can't use Run to start any SAS programs, and I've tried restarting Altair Analytics Workbench, and rebooting my laptop, but Run is still greyed out.

I've asked how to stop PROC R, but maybe it is an open lock in the Local Server. Either way the Workbench won't run any programs.

Please can someone assist me?.............Phil

Okay so something has gone wrong with the old workspace folder. The easiest way forward may be to move your files from the old folder into the new folder (except for the hidden .metadata folder) and then continue with the working new workspace folder.

    Hi Phil,

Please can you try selecting a different/new workspace folder when launching Workbench, and let us know if the Run button is enabled in the new workspace or not?

    Thanks,
    Nico

    Hi @Nico Chart ,

The Run button is enabled in a new workspace.

I also tried deleting the .lock file from the .metadata folder in the "locked" workspace, but this made no difference.
